Striking Art Deco revival sculpture by acclaimed Austin Productions artist Alexsander Danel, signed "A. Danel" and marked AUSTIN PROD INC 1990 . Titled "Birdie," this spirited lady golfer stands approximately 16" tall in cold-cast composite with rich bronze and copper patinated finish, dressed in 1920s cap, scarf and plus-fours with original metal club shaft. Wear and minor paint loss to base edges and corners; finish scuffs; figure intact. A coveted Danel subject for collectors.
