1950s Ceramic Poodle Nursery Planter Pink Glaze

Charming mid-century nursery planter, circa 1950s-60s, in the kitsch style of Napco, Lefton, and Relpo Japanese export ware. Glazed ceramic poodle (or lamb) features textured curly fur, big blue eyes, rosy cheeks, a dainty blue bow, and applied blue and yellow blossoms atop the head. Pink and white palette, approximately 6.25" tall by 7" long. Unmarked. Good display condition: glaze bright and intact, light wear and dust in crevices, no visible chips or cracks. Sweet nursery accent.
