Elegant Art Nouveau salad serving set, comprising a three-tine fork and matching spoon, circa 1900. Each ~9.5" handle is crowned with a full-bloom rose in crisp high relief, flowing leaves and stems cascading down the shaft-a quintessential turn-of-the-century motif reminiscent of patterns by Holmes & Edwards and Wm. Rogers. Silverplate construction; unmarked. Presents with rich darkened patina, minor surface scratches to bowl reverses, plating intact. A romantic table accent.
