Flow Blue Ironstone Floral Transferware Oval Platter

Offered here is a charming late 19th to early 20th century flow blue oval serving platter, a delightful example of Victorian-era transferware. The cobalt ground bears a central bouquet of peonies and chrysanthemums amid scrolling foliage, framed by a scalloped rim with molded relief and repeating border sprigs. The signature soft "flow" blur is beautifully evident. Ironstone/semi-porcelain body, roughly 10" x 7". Unmarked. Light glaze wear, minor underside staining; no chips or cracks.
